Paper beads are essentially the national craft in Uganda. BEAUTIFUL beads made out of paper and then varnished for durability. But the market is gone, saturated with paper beads... new ideas for crafts using paper beads?

When I was a teen, I had rows of plastic beads hanging down in my bedroom doorway to walk through. You could also make them to hang down in front of windows. Of course, finding a way to distribute them en masse as necklaces, bracelets, etc. overseas would sure help a lot.
